To enable children to develop their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in a balanced and comprehensive manner, we not only create a whole-language learning environment but also adopt different teaching strategies. For example, we use an integrated and effective literacy teaching method to improve literacy; we promote students' thinking development through higher-order thinking in class; we also arrange group discussions and presentations to build and consolidate children's communication skills; and we arrange diversified reading and writing experiences to develop writing skills.
